Our Summer Reading & Math Boosters are designed to help children stay academically engaged during the summer while building confidence in a positive, encouraging environment.

Why We Created This Program

Many children experience what educators call “summer learning loss,” where academic skills may decline during extended breaks from school. Studies have shown that students can lose some progress in reading and math over the summer months without continued academic engagement.

At Camps by KT, we believe summer should still feel exciting, creative, and enjoyable; while also helping children maintain confidence in their learning abilities.

Our Summer Reading & Math Boosters were created to:

  • Reinforce important academic skills

  • Keep young minds engaged

  • Build confidence without pressure

  • Support smoother transitions back into the school year

  • Help children feel prepared, capable, and encouraged

This is not designed to feel like traditional school tutoring. Our goal is to create a positive, supportive learning experience that keeps children growing while still enjoying summer.

Pricing Options

Current Campers

The Summer Reading & Math Booster is available as an optional add-on for enrolled campers. When registering for your selected camp week, simply select:
“Reading & Math Booster” during the registration process. Children enrolled in summer camp that week may add the Summer Reading & Math Booster for:

$50/week
Includes:

  • 3 sessions per week

  • 45 minutes per session

  • Small-group instruction

  • Weekly progress folder

Non-Camp Families

Families not enrolled in camp may request enrollment in the Summer Reading & Math Booster by emailing:

Please include your child’s name, grade level, and requested week(s) in your email inquiry. Children not enrolled in camp may still participate in the booster program.

$75/week

Does my child have to be enrolled in camp?

No. Families may register for the Summer Reading & Math Booster even if they are not enrolled in camp.

Is this tutoring?

This is a structured academic enrichment program designed to reinforce skills, encourage continued learning, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Will children receive individualized support?

Yes. Sessions are held in small groups to allow for guidance, encouragement, and targeted support.

What should my child bring?

Children should bring any requested materials and arrive ready to learn with a positive attitude.

How many days per week is the program?

The program meets three days per week:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:45 a.m.– 9:15 a.m.
