Deposit, Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy
Deposit Policy
A non refundable $50 deposit, per camp week is required at registration.
Deposits apply toward tuition and will automatically converyt to a credit if you cancel.
You will never lose yopur deposit- it remains on file as a credit for 12 months.
Mandatory Automatic Billing
Remaining tuition is due 14 days before each camp week begins.
If unpaid, the credit or debit card on file will be automatically charged.
Cancellation & Refund Schedule
Until March 31, 2026
Full refund (minus a 5% tuition processing fee and the non-refundable deposit).
April 1 – April 30, 2026
50% refund (excluding deposit) + 50% credit (including deposit portion)
5% processing fee (based on total tuition) will be deducted from the refund.
Applies per camp week
After April 30, 2026
No refunds
100% of all payments (including deposits) will convert to a credit.
Credit is valid for 12 months
Active Refund Protection
Active Refund Protection can be added during registration for a small fee (typically 15–20% of your total cart). This protection allows you to cancel your camp week up to 48 hours before it begins and receive a refund directly through Active.
Important details:
Active Refund must be selected at the time of original registration and cannot be added later.
To file a cancellation claim, visit refund.active.com or email support@active.com.
Camps by KT cannot process cancellations for families who purchased Active Refund.
If you did not purchase this protection, cancellations will follow Camp by KT’s standard billing and refund policy (see below).
You will never lose your money; refunds convert to credits once the refund window closes.
Cancellations After Automatic Billing
If canceled after billing but before camp begins:
No refund
Full amount becomes a credit
No-Shows & Same-Week Cancellations
No-shows receive no refund, no credit, and no transfer.
If a camper does not attend and notice is given the day of camp or during the camp week, all tuition is forfeited.
This policy exists because late notice prevents us from offering the spot to waitlisted families.
Credits
Credits are valid for 12 months
Credits may be used for any Camps by KT program
Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value
Transfers
Transfers must be requested at least 7 days prior to the camp week start
Transfers are subject to availability
No transfers allowed for no-shows or same-week cancellations
Medical or Family Emergencies
In documented emergency situations, Camps by KT may issue a credit or partial refund at its discretion.
Why We Have This Policy
At Camps by KT, we strive to accommodate every family while protecting the experience we provide to all campers. Once the camp season has begun, our resources have already been allocated. Staff have been hired, supplies have been purchased, and activities have been set up based on camper registrations.
To maintain fairness and ensure we can offer the highest quality experience, we provide credits instead of refunds during the camp season to prevent last minute cancellations that could leave open spots unused and impact our small business.

Behavior Management
Camps by KT maintains a three-strike system for behavioral issues. Physical violence, racist behavior, or severe bullying/harassment results in immediate expulsion with no refund. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for complete behavior management policies.
