Meet the Camps by KT

Junior Advisory Board

A select group of rising 7th–9th graders who lead with excellence, creativity, and compassion—helping shape the future of Camps by KT.

Our Junior Advisory Board contributes ideas to improve the camp experience while serving as role models for younger campers. This summer, they’ll also lead a special virtual service project in partnership with Heroes for Children, planning and hosting an interactive activity for pediatric cancer patients in hospitals across Houston and Dallas.

Throughout the year, board members will continue developing and participating in service initiatives that reflect the heart of Camps by KT—leadership, kindness, and giving back.

    Alex

    Alex is a rising 7th grader who brings confidence, compassion, and creativity to everything she does. She is a proud member of the Camps by KT family since the age of four!

    She participates in competitive all-star cheer, volunteers in her community, and has a love for STEM and swimming. Alex also excels academically, making her a standout leader and role model among her peers.

    An avid gamer with a love for all things gaming, Alex is as strategic with a controller as she is in the classroom. With her sharp mind and determination, she dreams of one day becoming a neurosurgeon.

    Zoe

    Zoë is a high-energy, cheer-flipping, fashion-loving girl, rising 7th grader, who’s always up for an adventure. Whether it’s trying new foods or nailing the perfect makeup look, she brings excitement and style to everything she does. Zoë has been a proud member of the Camps by KT family since the age of 4!

    She attends an all-girl pre-AP STEM-focused school but has just as much love for her favorite show, Dance Moms, everything blue, and cuddling babies and puppies. Life’s more fun when you mix brains, style, and a whole lot of sparkle!

    Lohgan

    Lohgan is a rising 7th grader who enjoys volleyball, recreating the latest TikTok dances, hanging out with friends, and making sure her lip gloss is always popping. She brings energy, fun, and confidence everywhere she goes.

    With her ambition and vibrant spirit; Lohgan aspires to attend the University of Texas, play volleyball at the collegiate level, and major in marine biology.

    Olivia

    Olivia is a rising 7th grader who enjoys competitive dance, theater, STEM, and all things crafting. A natural leader and creative thinker, she inspires those around her to see their own potential and always leads with kindness and respect.

    Highly intelligent and deeply compassionate, Olivia dreams of studying biology and working at NASA one day. She brings a bright spirit and sharp mind to every space she’s in.

    Cedrick

    Cedrick is a rising 7th grader and has been part of the Camps by KT family since the very beginning, attending since the age of four. A highly intelligent and respectful young leader, Cedric is known for his critical thinking and calm confidence.

    An avid reader and one of the most frequent visitors to his school library, he reads several books a week and is always eager to learn. Cedrick is also a golfer, gamer, and plans to pursue a career in medicine.

    Peyton

    Peyton is a rising 7th grader who leads with creativity, kindness, and a genuine love for helping others. A talented volleyball player, dancer, and actress, Peyton recently stole the spotlight as the youngest cast member in her school’s production of The Wiz—and delivered a phenomenal performance.

    Known for her respectfulness and sweet spirit, Peyton brings joy wherever she goes. She has been attending Camps by KT since the age of four and looks forward to it every year.

    Blaire

    Blaire is a rising 7th grader with a natural flair for performing. She dances competitively with grace and brings sparkling sass to every routine. Whether she’s dancing across the stage or playing the piano, Blair’s talent and confidence shine through.

    She’s known for her creativity, determination, and heart for helping others—especially younger children. A proud Camps by KT kid since the age of four, Blair is a problem solver, a lover of mystery and coming-of-age novels, and a joyful leader who always finds a way to make things better.

    Theory

    Theory is a rising 7th grader who has been part of the Camps by KT family since the age of five. A gifted performer, Theory recently starred on Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan on Nickelodeon and continues to shine on and off the stage.

    She’s a talented dancer across all genres, a competitive figure skater, and a beautiful singer. Theory loves fashion, creativity, and expressing herself through style. A natural leader with a heart for helping others, she’s smart, determined, faith-filled, and always striving to be her best self.

    Sophie

    Sophie is a rising 7th grader at a Performing and Visual Arts middle school. A member of the Gifted and Talented Program, she participates in ballet, creative writing, and was recently selected for the 2025–2026 MPVA Cheerleading Squad—all while excelling academically.

    Outside of school, Sophie is a third-year competitive dancer performing with the Senior Elite team across genres including jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical. This year, she proudly steps into the spotlight as a first-year soloist. Passionate about the arts and inspiring others, Sophie ooks forward to making a positive impact on younger campers.

    John IV

    John is a rising 8th grader and a proud member of the Camps by KT family since the age of six. A multi-talented young leader, he is a gifted pianist, competitive swimmer, and baseball player. John has a sharp mind for mental math, a deep love for history and anime, and a passion for travel.

    He’s also a true music lover; singing, acting, and enjoying genres from old-school classics to modern hits. Above all, John loves God deeply, approaches life with curiosity, and is always eager to ask questions and keep learning.

    Kyla

    Kyla is a driven honor roll student who leads with confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm. A passionate performer, Kyla has served as captain of a competitive dance team for three consecutive years and is co-captain of her middle school cheer squad. She has taken on standout roles in school productions including Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and The Wiz, where she performed as a featured soloist.

    Kyla joined Camps by KT at the age of four and has grown alongside the program over the years. She was honored with the Junior Camp Counselor Trailblazer Award, an award voted on by the campers themselves. Beyond the stage, Kyla is also a talented visual artist whose work has been presented at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Show.
