Our Mission

Camps by KT is committed to creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where every camper can thrive. By enrolling your child, you agree to uphold our core values:

Camper Expectations

All campers are expected to:

  • Follow staff instructions and camp rules

  • Use kind and respectful language

  • Keep hands and feet to themselves

  • Stay engaged and participate fully in activities

Failure to follow expectations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension without refund or credit.

Camp Schedule & Daily Operations

  • Standard Drop-Off: Begins at 8:00 a.m.

  • Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  • Extended Day: 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Early Drop-Off (Pre–Drop-Off)

  • Early Drop-Off is available from 7:45 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. for $25/ per week

  • No child may be dropped off before 8:00 a.m. unless Early Drop-Off has been purchased.

  • Children dropped off before 8:00 a.m. without Early Drop-Off may be denied entry for the day or assessed a late fee equivalent to the Early Drop-Off rate.

Late Pick-Up Policy

  • Pick-up after 4:00 p.m. (without Extended Day):

    • $10 for the first 15 minutes

    • $1 per minute after 4:15 p.m.

  • Pick-up after 5:30 p.m. (Extended Day):

    • $25 late fee, plus $1 per minute thereafter

Late fees must be paid before the camper may return to camp.
If a child is not picked up within 45 minutes of closing and no contact has been made, Child Protective Services (CPS)may be contacted.

Deposit, Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy

Deposit Policy

  • A $50 deposit per camp week is required at registration.

  • Deposits apply toward tuition.

  • After April 30, 2026, deposits are non-refundable, but you will never lose your money — deposits convert to credits.

Mandatory Automatic Billing

  • Remaining tuition is due 14 days before each camp week begins.

  • If unpaid, the credit or debit card on file will be automatically charged.

Cancellation & Refund Schedule

Until March 31, 2026

  • Full refund minus a 5% processing fee

April 1 – April 30, 2026

  • 50% refund + 50% credit

  • 5% processing fee deducted from the refunded portion only

  • Applies per camp week

After April 30, 2026

  • No refunds

  • 100% of tuition (including deposit) becomes a credit

👉 You will never lose your money — refunds convert to credits once the refund window closes.

Cancellations After Automatic Billing

  • If canceled after billing but before camp begins:

    • No refund

    • Full amount becomes a credit

No-Shows & Same-Week Cancellations

  • No-shows receive no refund, no credit, and no transfer.

  • If a camper does not attend and notice is given the day of camp or during the camp week, all tuition is forfeited.

  • This policy exists because late notice prevents us from offering the spot to waitlisted families.

Credits

  • Credits are valid for 12 months

  • Credits may be used for any Camps by KT program

  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value

Transfers

  • Transfers must be requested at least 7 days prior to the camp week start

  • Transfers are subject to availability

  • No transfers allowed for no-shows or same-week cancellations

Medical or Family Emergencies

In documented emergency situations, Camps by KT may issue a credit or partial refund at its discretion.

Health & Illness Policy

  • Children who are sick must not attend camp

  • Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, fever, persistent coughing, or visible illness

  • If a child becomes ill at camp, parents must pick up within 1 hour

  • No refunds due to illness

  • Credits may be considered only if illness occurs unexpectedly

  • Knowingly sending a sick child = no refund and no credit

Behavior Management

Camps by KT uses a three-step behavior system:

  1. Verbal warning

  2. Timeout and discussion

  3. Meeting with Camp Director and parent notification

Continued issues may result in suspension without refund or credit.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Immediate removal for:

  • Physical violence

  • Racist behavior

  • Severe bullying or harassment

No refunds or credits will be issued.

Technology Policy

Camps by KT is a technology-free environment.
Devices must remain in backpacks. Camps by KT is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Meals, Items & Fees

  • Forgotten lunch: $10 fee if camp provides lunch

  • Forgotten socks (if required): $5 fee

Camp Attire

  • Camp shirts recommended daily

  • Camp shirts required on field trip days

Field Trip Policy

  • Parents will always be notified in advance of off-campus or walking trips

  • Notification provided by email and reinforced at drop-off/pick-up

  • Signed consent required for trips involving transportation or admission

Sign-Out & Custody Protocol

  • Campers released only to authorized individuals

  • Regularly recognized parents do not need ID each time

  • Photo ID required for unrecognized or first-time pick-ups

  • Pick-up changes allowed via email or text

  • Failure to sign out may result in suspension

Restroom & Potty Training

All campers must be fully potty-trained.
Two accidents in one week may result in unenrollment without refund or credit.

Medical Authorization & Emergency Care

Parents authorize Crafty Scraps, LLC dba Camps by KT to seek emergency medical care.
All medical costs are the parent’s responsibility.

Photo & Media Release

Photos/videos may be used for promotional purposes without identifying information.

Waiver of Liability

Participation involves inherent risk. Families release Camps by KT from liability related to participation.

Privacy Policy

Personal information is used only for operations and is never sold or shared without consent.

COVID-19 & Illness Disclaimer

Participation carries inherent exposure risk. No refunds will be issued due to illness or protocol changes.
