Camps by KT was recently featured in Forward Times during coverage of the Women Making History event held at Houston City Hall in celebration of Women’s History Month; an event where our young leaders had the honor of opening the program.

The article, titled “The Floor Belongs to Her: Houston Honors Its Women Entrepreneurs at City Hall,” highlighted leaders and changemakers across the city who are making an impact in their communities.

As part of that coverage, Founder Kellie Thomas was recognized alongside youth from Camps by KT, noting the program’s focus on STEAM, leadership, and empowerment.

This recognition reflects the work taking place within Camps by KT; creating opportunities for youth to step into meaningful spaces, use their voice, and grow in confidence through real experiences.
