Camps by KT Counselors Serve at Camp H-Town

Several of our Camps by KT camp counselors dedicated a full week of service as volunteer cabin counselors at Camp H-Town; a pediatric overnight oncology camp experience hosted in partnership with MD Anderson at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston.

During this immersive week, our high-achieving college counselors provided direct care, leadership, and joy to children impacted by cancer and their siblings. They supported daily activities, built meaningful connections inside the cabins, and contributed to a safe, uplifting environment for families navigating extraordinary circumstances.

This experience extended far beyond volunteering. It expanded perspective, deepened empathy, strengthened leadership capacity, and elevated professional development. Serving at Camp H-Town becomes a defining chapter in their personal and professional journeys; one that builds character, compassion, and confidence in ways a classroom cannot replicate.
