Black History Month Spotlight | Greater Houston Black Chamber

During Black History Month, the Greater Houston Black Chamber recognized Camps by KT Founder and Head of Camp, Kellie Thomas, with a Member Spotlight honoring her leadership and impact in the Houston community.

The recognition highlighted Kellie’s work in youth development, entrepreneurship, and her commitment to cultivating confident, career-exposed young leaders across Fort Bend County and beyond.

Being acknowledged by one of Houston’s leading business organizations is both an honor and a responsibility. It reflects the growing influence of Camps by KT not only as a youth enrichment program, but as a mission-driven organization contributing to economic, educational, and leadership advancement within the community.

We are grateful for the recognition and remain committed to building programs that spark ambition, inspire confidence, and expand opportunity for the next generation.
