 Day Camp FAQs

  • Camps by KT camp shirts are required daily. This keeps our campers safe by allowing us to quickly identify Camps by KT campers in all spaces. Campers will receive one complimentary camp shirt for the summer, with additional shirts available for purchase at camp locations.

  • Camps by KT provides an optional catered lunch if you would like to add that to your child’s registration. Otherwise, Camps by KT will provide your child with one snack during the camp day and one additional snack if they attend after care.

  • We welcome campers with special needs at Camps by KT! Generally, as long as our staff is able to maintain the safety of your child and other campers, and your child’s experience is a positive one, then the camp should be a good fit.

    The best way we can support your child is through open and frequent communication with you. If there are strategies used at home or at school to support your child’s needs, please let us know so we can provide consistent care at camp.

    We are available to discuss any questions or concerns you may have to determine if Camps by KT is a good fit.

  • As of 2024 we are a technology-free campus. All cell phones and other electronics must be kept off and put away in a bag, or preferably, left at home!

    Phones may be used during Junior Entrepreneurs and Leadership Week, as campers can utilize their devices to create visual advertisements or commercials.

    Note: Camps by KT is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items at camp.

  • Absolutely! Every Wednesday before camp, your family will receive the Camp Newsletter for the following week. Your Camp Newsletter will include information about what your child needs to bring, drop off and pick up information, and the highlighted activities for the week.

  • Camps by KT follows the 1:10 ratio; required by the state for our campers

  • Camps by KT offers an academic camp, that focuses on reading, writing and math.

    However, if you are enrolled in our summer program in Missouri City, TX, you can opt for tutoring. It’s available twice a week, from 8 am to 9 m, provided by a high-achieving college student or teacher. Tutoring request may be submitted during registration.

    Tutoring sessions will focus on your child’s specific need, tailored to your requested area of focus.

  • YES! We will be going on field trips this summer!

    You will be able to see our scheduled field trips during registration.
